// visual identity, website
New beginnings
After moving countries and switching from a regular practice to online therapy services, this psychologist needed a visual identity that reflected her new moment and the big changes in both her personal and professional life. She also needed a new website and blog to accompany the brand.
Line of thought
There is a lot of "unravelling one's thoughts" involved in clinic psychology. And the client wanted the blog to take the center stage of her website: it was meant to be the place for her to unravel her own thoughts, both personal and those related to her craft. I wanted the graphic part of the logo to reflect that, using a single line that twists and unfurls to form a face, head and hair.
Between analog and digital
With the client's passion for writing and analog note-taking, I thought it would be an excellent opportunity to bring the non-digital aspects of her work to her new, mainly-digital presence. The orange highlighter marker was chosen as the focal element to bring that analog touch to the visual identity. On the logo, it forms the other half of a mass of hair, creating an interesting contrast with the lineart. And specifically for the website, figuring out where and how to include other small touches of handwritten elements was also a fun challenge.
The final result strikes a nice balance between analog and digital, with the logo working both as a personal and a professional brand for the client.
